Ed Eckess, an Adjunct Assistant Professor in our department, passed away October 7, 2004 at the Geisinger Medical Center.

Ed volunteered countless hours since his retirement, assisting with many educational activities within the department. He especially enjoyed working with children at The Great Insect Fair and Bug Camp For Kids, guiding them as they discovered the wonders of the insect world. Ed will be missed by many who admired his zest for life and smiling face.
