Degree: Ph.D. in Entomology

My general interests lie in aquatics, conservation, and outreach. Specifically, I am examining the biotic and abiotic factors that led to the extirpation of the Eastern Green Drake mayfly (Ephemera guttulata) from Spring Creek, Centre County, in order to determine the steps necessary to facilitate restoration of the species to this legendary waterway.

I also coordinate the Docent program for the Frost Entomological Museum. Each year, the Frost Museum provides tours and other educational opportunities to thousands of visitors, including K-12 students, members of community organizations, and families.
