814-863-7812 Advisor: Dr. Consuelo De Moraes Degree: Ph.D. in Entomology My basic research interests are in the chemical ecology of plant-insect interactions and the influence of their environment. I am investigating the role of symbiotic root microbes in the interactions between plants and herbivores. Currently, I am using the soybean-rhizobia relationship to distinguish the mechanisms that may lead to different induced responses to herbivores on inoculated and non-inoculated plants. |
