Get the most from our website:

You need three things:

1. A Web browser the equivalent of NetScape 3 , or Microsoft Internet Explorer . To take advantage of some of the extras on our pages, you'll need a Java capable browser.

2. Adobe Acrobat to download files in their original format.

3. The Real Media Player to play audio and video files without waiting for a lengthy download.

The Real Player downloads an installation file that automatically links to your Web browser. Your browser may already have a "plug-in" that handles RealMedia, but it won't hurt to download the latest version of Real Player. In order to get Adobe Acrobat files to open automatically after they download, you'll need to add Acrobat as a "helper" application in your browser. For example, in Netscape 3x Gold, go to "General Preferences" under the "Options" menu, and click the "helpers" tab and you'll see a window like this:

If you don't see Acrobat listed, click on new and use the set up below. If you do see Acrobat listed (as it is above), click on "edit," and make sure the settings are correct.

If you have questions about setting up your Web browser, contact your ISP.
